Oral history interview with Robert Goldberg, 1990 July 27.

Goldberg describes his use of Icon in the classroom at Illinois Institute of Technology and emphasizes the strength of Icon for instructional purposes over other programming languages. He discusses his interaction with Ralph Griswold when working on various implementations of Icon. Goldberg describes the strong documentation produced by the Icon project and his own owrk on conversion of Icon from a UNIX to VAX VMS implementation. He discusses the development of a PC version of Icon and his own use of Icon in normal work.
